Kangaroo Island offers a wide variety of experiences to suit most tastes --many of these are covered in the brochures on the Island. Here are a few of the things that we enjoy.
In the evening turn all the lights off,
open the sliding doors and listen to the night sounds and enjoy the stars.
Pennington Bay --a ten-minute drive from Wallaby
Beach House this spectacular bay has rolling surf, rock pools,
and a unique and fascinating sand hill ecosystem.
Walk to Rocky Point --step out side the house and turn
left. The walk is along a beautiful beach (noted for its shells) with
good swimming almost the whole way. The walk takes about 45 minutes each
way.
Drive into Penneshaw to get the newspapers and have a
cappuccino.
Have dinner at the Penneshaw Pub with fresh King
George Whiting.
Have a sensational dinner at Restaurant Bella in Kingscote.
Drive to Cape Willoughby and stop off at Antechamber
Bay on the way.
